HIV In Cumbria

Cumbria HIVAre you living with HIV in Cumbria, or caring for someone who is? If so, you may be interested in a new initiative being promoted by Cumbria Equality Resource Centre (CERC) in partnership with a number of organisations and individuals who are committed to re launching a support network for people affected by this condition. The group is in the early stages of planning and CERC would encourage anyone who is interested to get in touch and tell them what you think. There are a couple of ways to get involved: If you are interested but have limited time to spare, you are welcome to support the group by attending as a member. Please get in touch by the numbers below to express your interest and find out where the next meeting is. If you would like to help create the group then CERC are keen to hear from you; you may have organising or fundraising skills that we could use to make the group a success, or you may wish to learn new skills and contribute to the development of the group in other ways. The intention is to form a committee to oversee the running of the group, so if this would be of interest to you then please let CERC know as soon as possible by calling the numbers below. CERC have created an online poll so that people can let us know what they think should happen; it can be found HERE.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact Liam Ryan on: 01768 895242, or Val MacConnell on 07825 207046.
